The Dryandra Road Project based in Brisbane is looking for a Document Controller to join the Project team. This position will report to the Quality Manager.

As a major engineering, construction, building and maintenance contractor operating in 23 locations throughout Australia, Asia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and the Middle East, we recognise the role our projects take in facilitating the growth and success of building critical infrastructure that supports communities globally.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Maintain controlled documentation and correspondence to ensure a current up-to-date document control system
Maintain the Project filing system in accordance with the Project Execution Plan - Filing Index such that records are protected from damage, deletion, unauthorised amendment, and deterioration and are easily retrievable
Receive and log documentation into the document management system, ensuring that appropriate Project team members, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants are notified
Ensure all controlled documents are registered and transmitted correctly within 24 hours of receipt
Ensure all correspondence is registered and transmitted correctly within 24 hours of receipt
Ensure the latest revisions of documents are available at every point of use
Prevent unintended use of obsolete / superseded documents ensuring they are withdrawn from use
Assist with the review process for Project controlled documentation in line with Project procedures;
Assist with the approval procedure to receive sign off on Project controlled documentation;
Review, update and initiate re-approval of documents as necessary
Proven technical / engineering document and data management knowledge
Skills in training and implementation of document control systems
Proficient in the application and understanding of contemporary document control principles
Competent in planning, organising and prioritizing work schedules and a demonstrated ability to deliver to timelines
Strong, clear and concise communication skills
Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Solution driven approach to problems / conflict
Proven ability to engage with others and work as part of a team
High capabilities in the use of Aconex and Microsoft Office suite
